In Quetzaltenango [Xela] we had our brakes serviced and oil changed at a garage which I would like to recommend; I don't really know which name they will be trading under in future since they have just signed a new franchise:
their signage says "Quaker State", their overalls say "Motorxela", they have a "Firestone/Bridgestone" franchise, and now they've signed up with "Llanresa"...
Nevertheless: it's a pretty clean place, they have room to service and wash fairly large trucks, their equipment seems to be good, and their work wasn't expensive (Q667 incl. oil filter, 12 liters of oil, and 2½ hours of labour)! I watched them service the rear brakes: they were really thorough and knew what they were doing.
